Summertime has begun as of June 20th and we all have great memories of the fun. It’s warm weather now so let the outdoor activities begin.

The three B’s. Beach, Barbeque and Beverages! That just about covers it. The beach is only 26 miles from Back Roads Auto and many of our employees love to go there. Southern Grilled BBQ Ribs are great. Everyone has a favorite recipe. Some have Red Wine Vinegar, Ketchup, Cider Vinegar, Worchestershire Sauce, Brown Sugar, Mustard, Pepper Sauce and more! Let us know your favorite and we’ll update our blog and share yours. Many of our customers here in Great Bridge, Hickory, Moyock and farther south do some great grillin!
Take a day trip right here in Hampton Roads. There’s a lot to explore right here at Locks Park, Northwest Park or the Chesapeake Arboretum. Kayaking, hiking or fishing is always fun.
We have plenty of working farms right here in Chesapeake. Everything from seasonal fruits and veggies to petting zoos, tractor rides and corn mazes. You can even take your family to pick gorgeous sunflowers or wildflowers. Enjoy nature and the beauty all around you.
Of course, desserts and treats are made right here also!
